Aim: To build a new glasshouse to provide a facility for basic research into plant I herbivore interactions

Research in this project was conducted over 3 years to investigate a range of issues related to improving the management of pests in cotton, especially through the early season.

The project aims are: * Construction of additional cages to isolate field-collected strains of A. gossypii. * Establishment of additional base-line data.

To investigate the SAR response in cotton and to evaluate a range of biotic and abiotic stimuli under both glasshouse and field conditions against Verticillium and Fusarium wilts and Altemaria leaf spot.
